Situated on the South Black Sea coast the city of Primorsko is a modern sea resort and center of the youth tourism. It lies 52 km South of the city of Bourgas and 442 km Souuth-East from the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. Situated on a cape that is jutted out into the sea between the both bays "Sozopol" and the Devil's bay, the city's old name was "Kyupriya".
